We are going to start the day in Manassas, Virginia. Thirty years ago it was a place where you lived when you didn't have enough money to buy a place closer into the NOVA, DC work centers. It had a less than enlighted feel. Before you blast me, understand that my first house was there, so I can say that. Well, the police don't seem to have made any progress at all.

Support Remington
The whole Zumbo fiasco brought a quick reaction. Some appropriate; some not.
Remington is an advertiser at Outdoor Life and, as such, has no prepublishing, editorial authoritiy. Their status came after examination of Zumbo's history and market. Their only option going forward is to modify their customer status at OL.
To call for a boycott of Remington over a weekend when it hits the fan is premature. Their reaction to the situation needs to be measured before a response is advocated.
In fact, Remington is already responding. From the Remington website:
NOTICE: Remington is in the process of severing our sponsorships with Mr. Zumbo. Remington in no way shares or advocates any of the comments made by Mr. Zumbo on his blog site. A formal announcement will be released by noon today. At this point, Remington is acting on the facts and will quickly announce their ultimate course of action.
I whole heartedly support their response thus far. Let's give Remington a chance to respond.
Update: Remington to Sever Sponsorship Ties with Jim Zumbo - It sounds like their toughest decision was how to word the press release.
It feels like a good day to buy some Remington ammunition.
Update 2: And now there is a Statement from Outdoor Life.
