Just tried a Magpul MS2 sling. The front clip will not hook onto the front eye on the gas block. The MS2 clip is too wide. Have to try something else.

The standard HK rifle sling that CDNN sells for 10 bucks works like a charm. It has a hook on one end to attach near the front sight and standard buckle on the other to lace through the stock slot.
im very impressed with how many options for rifle sling attachments my sig556 classic has. the worst part is choosing the rifle sling and placement.
