It will cause the shotgun's bolt to bind. AR_Ron 8/27/2010 10:07:41 PM I had a Mesa Tactical sidesaddle for my 930 SPX and while I found it nicely made, I also found it poorly engineered. My gripe is with the elastomer system. When I was shooting bird shot, the shells that I had in the sidesaddle held fine. But when I started to shoot slugs and buck shot, the shells would slowly slide down and if allowed, would eventually fall out (storing the shells upside down). Also you are not supposed to store shells in the sidesaddle for extended periods of time which for me defeats the purpose of having a sidesaddle. I eventually switched to the tried and true TacStar which always holds the shells securely and as a bonus is about half the price of the Mesa Tactical. 00Ghost00 8/28/2010 12:57:21 AM Well the problem lies with the fact that Tacstar stopped producing their product for the SX2/Browning Gold, so those of us with SX2's, SX3's, and SLP's are limited in our options. I've got a SX2 MKII Practical, and have searched high n' low for Tacstar's disco'ed product to see if someone may, just may, still have one laying around. So far no luck. What really irks me is the fact that they can't at least stop using the old packaging stencil that has a place marker for a SX2/Browning Gold version. Anyways, thanks OP! Now I've got something to add to the holiday's wish list.
