If most of your shooting is 100yards+ then an ACOG with BAC rounds out your capabilities quite well.

Personally, I do a bit of everything but more at closer ranges so I use an EOTech with magnifier.

I got to try a ACOG that was on a M4

Dont Know the model

but was easy to shoot with Both eyes open

Thanks for the informed opinion. That kind of explains why so many folks are putting Docter red dots on top of their ACOGs for close/quick work...

What are the pro's & con's of these. My application will be a 14.5" carbine and I do most of my shooting at less than 100 yards but occasionally out to 200 yards.

I think the AP looks cooler FWIW.
